As part of the official Némo Biennial of Digital Arts in Ile-de-France, TheWaysBeyond offers you an exclusive visit of the exhibition “Human Learning. What machines Teach Us” with Catherine Bédard, the curator of the exhibition, at the Canadian Cultural Center (hosted by the Embassy of Canada).

In response to Machine Learning –how machine can learn nowadays, by simple deduction–, the time has come to ask ourselves the question of Human Learning, namely: what machines, in return, can teach us. The exhibition presented at the Canadian Cultural Center documents the world using the technologies that shape it, and the works assembled here show a wide range of styles, ranging from interactive and playful devices, to generative installations with autonomous processes, and digital creations made out of digital forms.

Join us on 3rd April for a cultural lunch between the Justine Emard’s poetic artificial intelligence, Sabrina Ratté’s luminous variations, and Samuel St-Aubin’s “machine to learn patience” (a machine sorting rice grains)! The visit will be given by Catherine Bédard, the curator of the exhibition, and followed by a lunch from Dalloyau Paris.
